Seek to suspend Russia as a permanent member of the UN Security Council

What the petition asks
The UK government should introduce a motion to have Russia removed as a permanent member of the UN Security Council.
It is clear from the current state of the actions of Russia that their position on the UN Security Council is not an appropriate position for them to hold, particularly in regards to their ability to veto any action against them by the council. The UK Government should act for the sake of the world to try to remove Russia from its role and resolve the council's impotence against Russia. The UN needs to be able to take action against Russia without Russia being able to veto that action.
