Require employers to offer paid menstruation leave
Closed
195 signatures
What the petition asks
Make it mandatory for employers to provide paid menstruation leave to their female staff. Those who suffer from menstrual pain should be given specific leave in the labour market, and should be able to take at least 3 days paid leave a month when they are suffering from menstrual pain.
It is unfair for menstrual pain not to be better recognised in the workplace. Menstrual pain can have a substantial impact, and new rights to leave should help women to maintain a better work-life balance.
