Nationalise Water Companies for the future benefit of generations to come.

What the petition asks
Take back all water supplies into public ownership.
The water industry has taken £72 billion from households and businesses, yet all our rivers are unfit, and polluted. Our beaches are surrounded by sewage-contaminated water due to effluent being discharged. Water companies operate to create profit for shareholders, not to benefit the people. Standards are appalling. We, the people, need one national company owned by the nation to implement a standardised policy to clean our rivers and seas and to provide safe water for everyone.
