Reduce Vehicle Tax on Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicles.

What the petition asks
We ask the Government to reduce the amount of Vehicle Tax paid by owners of plugin hybrid-electric vehicles.
Drivers of hybrid vehicles are proud and competitive at how many miles they can drive on 100% electric, yet we pay large Vehicle Tax amount to carry around a combustion engine. We believe most hybrid vehicle drivers place more importance on driving electric and try to avoid using fuel unless absolutely necessary.
As well as reducing the Vehicle Tax paid by hybrid drivers we ask that an emission tax be place on cars that run on 100% fuel and that drivers of fully electric vehicles should pay some Vehicle Tax.
