What the petition asks

Stop all final payments to ministers and mps when they leave roles. There should not be extortionate pay outs. Review politicians pensions to be based on length of service and salary. MPs to contribute to pensions and lose pension rights if Gross Misconduct or incompetent.
Total review of payments made to politicians, final pay outs and pensions. Stop extortionate pay outs using tax payers money to failed politicians who do not serve term in office.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
