Call an Immediate General Election and for Lizz Truss to Immediately Resign

Rejected 9 signatures

What the petition asks

After tonight’s chaos witnessed in Parliament, it has become unequivocally evident that the Conservative Party and Government of the United Kingdom is in total disarray. With war on our doorstop this inept government can no longer continue to lead. A general election must now be immediately called.
The conservative parties actions and complete and utter disarray on Wednesday evening, alongside the catastrophic and incompetent leadership of an unelected prime minister has shown that they are not fit to lead this country. In any other job, if a member of the public displayed this incompetence they would be held responsible and would likely lose their job. This should be no exemption, even to the PM and government.

The world is in crisis. We need a real leader. The people must choose.
