Abolish the Public Duties Cost Allowance (PDCA) for former Prime Ministers

What the petition asks
Abolish the £115,000 p.a. Public Duties Cost Allowance (PDCA) available to former Prime Ministers (including cancellation of the allowance for living former Prime Ministers).
We believe this allowance is unnecessary and unjustifiable.
Successful former Prime Ministers can make significant money from book deals, consultancy & after-dinner speeches.
Unsuccessful former Prime Minsters that have performed poorly & damaged the UK should not have access to a publicly funded allowance, particularly given the parlous state of UK public finances.
