Restore Democracy by holding a General Election. We reject unelected officials.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

To hold a general election within 100 days after the PM's resignation.

We call for an end to the undemocratic processes that have grown within our system from PM selection, to lobbying, media influence and the ruling class.
The country has been on a trajectory of Free Market ideology that is crashing spectacularly; wealth divides are greater than ever before and living standards for the majority are in decline. We simply ask to restore democracy and have a system in place that works for the many not the few.

This is a vote of no confidence not just for the PM or the current governing party, but for the current UK democratic system, a broken system that desperately needs reviewing if true democracy is to survive.
