Introduce a three month "qualifying period" for Prime Minister PDCA eligibility
Closed
93 signatures
What the petition asks
Former Prime Ministers are eligible to claim Public Duties Cost Allowance (PDCA), currently set at a limit of £115,000 per annum. This petition proposes a qualifying period of 3 months tenure of office as Prime Minister of the UK before former post holders can be considered eligible to claim PDCA.
It would seem grossly inappropriate for any Prime Minister to be eligible for PDCA if serving less than a minimum of 3 months in the role.
