What the petition asks

As a disabled person with a more modern mobility scooter with a speed capability of 15mph it would be good if we could update the law of the maximum speed to 15mph. Going at 8mph on the same mobility scooter is taking too long for many of us, we can’t take them on bus or train so please look into it

Change the bus & trains for the disabled mobility scooter users to be able to use them with 8mph scooters or & update the road legal speed limit to 15mph on the mobility scooter that have that option.
More mobility scooter companies are allowing this abroad & many U.K. mobility scooter users would like to have the same freedom to be able to get about feeling safer at crossings & junctions at 15mph then at 8mph especially when no paths are available. Please amend the mobility laws to go 15mph.
