Call for a general election after Liz Truss resignation
Rejected
20 signatures
What the petition asks
Accept that in the national interest a general election is required for members of the public to elect a leader and party to take the country forward with a clear mandate
It is somewhat disingenuous to expect the country to get behind a leader and party they have not personally elected
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
