What the petition asks
Call an immediate general election to end the chaos of the current government, the country is already in chaos from the Conservatives handling of their internal leadership changes and uncontrolled shoot from the hip policy changes.
A similar petition already exists but has been debated and disregarded by government. Liz Truss' resignation simply highlights that the petition should have been heeded and aims to again call for a general election.
