What the petition asks
It is unfair that someone serving a few weeks as PM is entitled to an annual allowance of £115,000. There should be a minimum time spent serving in that capacity before the payments are triggered
It will cost the tax payer millions of pounds to honour this unearned, undeserved “perk” of the job. Failure should not be rewarded as it undermines our faith in our parliamentary system
