Ban public use of fireworks

What the petition asks
We would like for the Government and Parliament to ban the use of fireworks by the public and be kept to licensed professionals only.
Fireworks are not always used responsibly, and the times of the year where they are sold results in a huge increase of calls to the emergency services. Fireworks are also traumatising for a lot of people, Veterans, Elderly, Babies, Animals, Children, those with a Disability or Mental Health condition. Thousands of people are killed or seriously injured each year by the misuse or an accident of a firework.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
