Establish a dedicated MP to represent the expat community living abroad

What the petition asks
At the moment British expats are represented by the MP from the constituency they belonged to before they left the UK to live abroad. I request the UK Government establish a dedicated MP sitting in Parliament, elected by overseas voters, to represent the millions of British expats living abroad.
Existing MPs rightly give most of their surgery time to the people who live in their constituency. A dedicated MP for expats should ensure their interests are better represented in Parliament.
