Make electronic tagging mandatory for all convicted sex offenders

Closed 110 signatures

What the petition asks

We want the Government to bring in a new Victim's Law to make electronic tagging mandatory for all convicted sex offenders, to help protect the public from criminals that reoffend.
Tagging should make it easier to tell if an offender has breached the conditions of their licence, or has reoffended.

The impact of sexual offences can have devastating and life-long effects on victims, and the Government must do more to protect the public from reoffending, and give victims greater peace of mind.
