What the petition asks
Sunak has recently made a statement saying he will revise the equalities act and effectively remove the rights of transgender people that are protected by this.
We do not want to allow this change as it will make the lives of transgender people unnecessarily more difficult and uncomfortable

The United Kingdom is a first world country. It is the duty of the government to protect the rights of the people not take them away.
These changes are transphobic and will undo progress that has been fought so hard for by LGBT+ people and organisations so the changes can not be allowed to happen.
