What the petition asks

Introduce legislation to ban noisy fireworks. Introduce legislation to make noiseless fireworks mandatory across the UK.
People and animals have been fatally injured by errant fireworks. Fireworks are purchased by the public and used indiscriminately all year round causing a severe health and safety concern. Ex military veterans have expressed noisy fireworks invokes PTSD. Elderly people are scared and feel intimidated in their own homes by noisy fireworks.
Parliament have failed consistently to address this issue. It is distressing to humans as well as animals and is affecting their mental well-being.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
