Ban firework sales to the public. Ban noisy fireworks. Control public displays.

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Ban the sale of fireworks to the public. Ban noisy fireworks. Contain public displays to November 4-7, Diwali and New Year’s Eve.
The stress that the indiscriminate use of noisy fireworks causes to animals cannot be overstated. The number of animals which go missing, spooked by fireworks, or suffer mentally from the noise, or even die from fear, is appalling. This is animal cruelty at its highest level. Only public displays should be allowed on specific days of the year, and noisy fireworks should be banned.
