Reverse plans to require Voter ID

What the petition asks
We believe plans to require Voter ID is discriminatory, and should be reversed, to ensure free, democratic elections where there are no barriers to vote for eligible voters.
The electoral register provides a list of everyone who is registered to vote and we believe the Voter ID proposals will place unfair barriers on people participating in free and fair elections, especially for those who do not currently have an accepted form of ID.
Creating barriers to voting undermines the very British values we hold close to us. Everyone should be allowed to vote if they are a registered voter.
