Stop Trans* Rights From Being Taken Away in the UK
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
It has been reported that the Government are looking to amend the Equality Act to make it clear that sex means biological sex rather than gender, we must ensure the Government commit to not making this change. If this change happens, the human rights of all Trans* people in the UK will be impacted.
Trans* rights are human rights. This should not be brought into question. If these changes are made, the lives of every Trans* person in the UK will be negatively impacted. Living as a Trans* person is not easy as it is, and it is important that Trans* rights are strengthened, not taken away.
