Stop touts bulk buying tickets for immediate resale at exorbitant prices
Rejected

What the petition asks
Having spent two hours trying to purchase tickets for Peter Kay’s tour I found it was sold out. At the same time, I searched for resale tickets to discover sites were immediately offering tickets at significantly higher prices
The mass purchase and resale of event tickets causes a number of issues - 1) it prevents the money going to the artist (in the case of Peter Kay who committed to selling tickets at reasonable prices due to the cost of living crisis and 2) prevents the end user customer from getting a fair deal and 3) precludes families living on limited incomes from attending live events
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a similar action: Make the resale of event tickets for more than face value illegal.
