Stop the Government from changing gender to sex on the Equality Act

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

It has been reported that the Government may look to amend the Equality Act to make it clear that sex means biological sex rather than gender, but we want to stop that cause that could put transgender people’s lives at risk when it comes to bathrooms (trans women would have to go to male ones)
If this happens we could be putting the lives of transgender peoples at risk. By making a trans woman use male bathrooms they could be put into psychical harms way. Plus it would lead to outing then and making them uncomfortable. With the PM’s want to change gender to sex on the Equality Act that would mean trans woman and men would have to use spaces that is based off their biological sex at birth.

Please sign this petition to stop this madness so we can protect the Transgender minority
