What the petition asks
Being a teacher for 6 years myself, having friends still in the teaching profession and now supporting teaching and support staff to find roles which are suitable for them, I have seen and heard first hand how much struggle most schools and their staff are going through.
Teachers are not just expected to teach, the more experienced they get they're still expected to manage a class & then take more and more added responsibility. There should be roles for teachers & leadership staff. In regards to the level of children with SEN and SEMH difficulties, there is not.enough training and support out there to train people how to manage these children within an mainstream school, which is then causing teaching and support staff to struggle mentally on a daily basis.
