Motorhome owners within proposed Greater London ULEZ zone exception to travel

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

People who own Motorhomes that do not conform to the ULEZ regulations but live within the new proposed Greater London zone, should be given exception to travel to and from their homes when leaving and returning the Greater London ULEZ zone.
As motorhomes are not used on a day to day basis, they should not be subject to the £12.50 daily charge to travel out of london when the owners live within the new Greater London ULEZ zone. If you are to take a break in your motorhome you would be charged not only to leave the ULEZ zone but to return as well on another day this would mean an added £25 to any trip. I think that government should add motorhomes to the exception list for owners within the new zone.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about about what classes of vehicle low emission schemes apply to is a matter for the relevant local authority, not the UK Government or House of Commons. As a result it is not possible for the Government or House of Commons to take the action you have requested.
