Review the animal health certificate process to make it simpler and less complex
Rejected
10 signatures
What the petition asks
The current animal health certificate is unnecessarily complex and far too costly. It also lasts for only one trip and for a four month period.
It it bureaucratic and costly. Make it simpler, longer lasting, and more reasonable so that people can take their pets abroad with less risk of getting it wrong and at a price people can actually afford.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about existing arrangements for animal health certificates, but we're not sure exactly changes you'd like to be made to these certificates.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
