What the petition asks
There are millions of stray and feral cats on the UK streets living harsh lives. We therefore now call on the Government to introduce compulsory neutering and spaying of all cats kept as domestic pets.
Unfortunately the situation is now seriously out of control.Every single rescue in the UK is drowning with unwanted cats and kittens. They have no choice and have to turn many away. The amount of cats being dumped has significantly worsened. Many have been abused, neglected and tortured to death. The situation continues to get worse with the volume of kittens being born on the streets each day to suffer. The Government must act now to end the National Cat crisis.
