Make petrol the same price across England

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

Equally priced petrol across the whole UK.

Force the petrol forecourts to sell petrol for the same price wherever they are in the UK.
I live in Harlow Essex petrol is £1.56.9 per litre. In Epping its £1.53.9. Enfield North London 12 miles away at a BP garage it's £1.52.9. In Haverhill on the Suffork/Essex boarder it's £1.46.9. Why is it so different?

There should be a standard price which is fair and equal for everyone despite Post Codes.

In the middle of a cost of living crisis the devide is made bigger by greed.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a decision for retailers.
