To allow pets into emergency/temporary accommodation.

What the petition asks
I want them to change the laws on allowing pets to live in emergency/temporary accommodation with their families and not have the owners be made to give up a member of their family.
We want them to change this because giving up a pet which is loved by their owners so very much and are a member of the family, they help people with health issues and are loved like a child in almost every family. You would not ask someone to give up a child to live in a place that they have no control over. People give up pets every day just so they them selfs are not homeless leaving a devastating mark on the ones mental health. So please think of people in this situation and lift a spirit.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This is a decision for individual landlords and property owners.
