Stop Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

The proposed bill states and allows people in Scotland to self-identify by getting a gender change certificate through an affidavit without medical approval or consultation.
The Bill may furthermore be detrimental to most parents especially those of African descent as it has no safeguarding for parents and guardians or medical professionals & specialists.

According to research published by KHN, 94% of young people with gender identity issues grow out of it. This is the reason we object to this bill being passed into law.
