What the petition asks
I would like all schools to give parents the option of a canteen meal or a FSM voucher to supply children with a packed lunch. FSM vouchers are still being issued The system is there so why not make it a normal.method to feed children at school.
Myself and other parents, especially those with special diets or sensory issues are finding that school dinners aren't suitable or our children won't eat them. This means many kids are going hungry at school. In relation to academy ran schools dinner breaks have been cut to 30 minutes. This isn't enough time for entire schools. Also some.schools run out of food, moreover some student have extra activities in their lunch breaks so 30 minutes isn't enough to queue and eat also.
