Make misandry a hate crime
Rejected
9 signatures
What the petition asks
Misogyny is being tackled thoroughly, but hate and abuse towards men flies under the radar and is often downplayed due to the idea of men having the privileged gender. Discrimination can go both ways, and misandry should be treated as a serious offence.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Discrimination on the grounds of sex is already included in the Equality Act 2010.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
