Mandate MPs (and immediate family) cannot use private healthcare

What the petition asks
Mandate all MPs and their immediate family members experience the same level of healthcare as the general public by banning the use of private healthcare and queue jumping within the NHS.
The NHS is fundamental to the well being of our country. We must encourage our MPs to protect this vital asset. One way to ensure its proper funding is to disallow those whom maintain it (and their immediate families) from queue jumping or resorting to private healthcare. If MPs have to use the NHS as the general public do, perhaps their approach to its funding will improve.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about whether to receive healthcare through the NHS or privately are a matter for every individual, not the UK Government or Parliament.
