Make it mandatory that all care homes should have their own defibrillator

What the petition asks
Bring in a law where by all care homes/sheltered accommodation need to have a defibrillator on site for residents.
Care homes see more out of hospital cardiac arrests than any other setting. Some care homes are having use public access defibrillators provided by fundraisers. Care homes should have their own as part of their First Aid kit. This should also reduce time of retrieving the defibrillator, and hopefully result in more positive outcomes. Also not all areas have public access defibrillators where this is possible in the first instance.
