A Royal Commission into the scientific efficacy of animal experimentation.

What the petition asks
We the undersigned demand a Royal Commission into the scientific efficacy of animal experiments & call for a transparent discussion to assess whether alternatives are adequately funded and promoted.
It is increasingly clear that vivisection is outdated, costly, unethical & bad science. There has not been a proper enquiry into the use of animals in laboratories for far too long. The U.K. is falling behind other countries and losing our reputation as a leader in animal welfare due to this failure to change in line with the scientific evidence.
