Introduce mandatory drug testing for MPs

What the petition asks

Introduce random drug tests for MPs, with a positive result leading to the MP being removed from office. MP’s have the power to make laws that effect every British citizen, and when they cast their votes, they should be in sound mind and not under the influence of any illegal drugs.
There are a number of industries where drug testing is commons, such as the aviation, rail and shipping industries. Since 2015 there have also been new regulations on driving under the influence of drugs in England and Wales which are linked to drug testing.
