What the petition asks

I want to be recognised that the justice system is corrupt. Sex offenders and pedophiles get months in prisons for traumatising a life and making life changing trauma to the people they have hurt. A sex offender/pedophile get months in prisons and it’s not ok.

I want parliament and the government to act upon this because a drug dealer will get 15+ years in prison but a sex offender/pedophile will get a couple of months to two years in prison then get realised back into the public for “good behaviour”. It needs to be understood that this can cause a person to have life long trauma and hurt and it isn’t ok. Bring in more and longer sentences for these people. More protection needs to be provided for the people that are at risk of SE for older and younger.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
