What the petition asks
Currently the government are subsiding monthly bills but this only goes to March 2023. The public need it to be extended further until this energy crisis is solved.
The energy crisis does not stop in March.
We need support, not empty words and promises. Action. Extend this scheme so monthly bills are manageable.

Without intervention, and soon, the charity National Energy Action predicts that the number of fuel poor households will rise drastically from an already shocking 6.7 million to 8.4 million from April – approaching double the 4.5 million households in this position in October 2021.
