Grant Turkish Citizens Sponsorship Visas
Rejected

What the petition asks
On Feb. 6, a magnitude 7.8 and 7.5 earthquakes occurred in southern Turkey. Many civilians lost their lives and many are trying to escape the rubble and flee to safety. Many of these civilians have families and relatives in the UK, or have pending immigration applications with the Home Office.
Following the invitation of Ukraine, the UK government introduced special immigration measures which allowed Ukrainians fleeing the war to be granted leave to enter the UK, and any ongoing applications for Ukrainian nationals were fast tracked. Given the sheer scale of devastation in Turkey and Syria, we are asking for the same measures to be applied to the Turkish citizens who are trying to flee the disaster area.
