Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
I want job centre staff if they wrongly advice you and make you financially worse off then they should be held accountable and DWP should correct mistake
I was wrongly advised by my local JCP and since then I am much worse off despite similar cases receiving transitional protection as ruled by court appeal as against human rights
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We are sorry to hear about your situation, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
It's not clear what type of mistake was made in your case, or the consequences this had, and what new requirements you want to be imposed on the Department for Work and Pensions to be required to fix mistakes like this in the future.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
If you are unhappy with the service you received from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) or from an organisation that provides its services you could complain about this: https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-work-pensions/about/complaints-procedure
