Introduce a national Childsmile programme for children in nurseries and schools

What the petition asks
Tooth decay (dental caires) is largely preventable, and I want the Government to introduce a Childsmile programme for nurseries and schools.
Help younger children with supervised tooth brushing at school, giving oral hygiene instructions, access to dental care, and supplying toothbrushes
There is already a Chidsmile programme in Scotland, to support young children and families by helping them care for their teeth. By introducing a similar scheme in England, we could see a reduction in the amount of tooth decay, emergency dental appointments, and admissions into hospitals for tooth extractions.
Implementing the same strategies as the Childsmile programme in Scotland could greatly benefit our children, families, and NHS dental services.
