What the petition asks
Many parents lives are changed when their child is diagnosed with Autism, and many struggle to come to terms with it. I have educated myself on Autism, and I realised that there was a significant lack of awareness of support available for parents from BAME communities.
It is important for the UK Government to take action to increase awareness of support services for BAME families and individuals with Autism to ensure equal access to resources that improve mental and physical well-being.
By increasing awareness of support available to BAME families, the Government can help to ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need and improve their overall quality of life.
