Allow citizens to vote for a decentralised autonomous organisation at elections

What the petition asks
I propose the ability for all to allow a DAO to be voted for in the absence of viable local candidates.
A DAO would mean all proposals are made and voted for by the community themselves. The people's voices will finally be heard and no longer ignored.
This would ensure real change.

The elected are to lead, to make a difference, ensure that economies flourish, ensure the area is maintained safely, in an eco friendly manner, to ensure public services aren't compromised. To ensure that they fulfill their promises to the people.
This is rapidly failing. No matter who runs to lead, the lives of so many should not be in so few hands. The government should allow us to decentralise our local areas. To decide what happens, between us all. I believe things will improve very rapidly

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want to see changes to the voting options at elections, but it appears that you want people to be able to vote for a fundamentally different form of government, when existing elections allow constituents to vote for individual representatives. It's therefore not clear how what you're proposing would work in practice.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to hold a referendum on replacing existing forms of government with a decentralised autonomous organisation, if that's what you want to happen.
