What the petition asks
There is much concern about energy costs and the implications of applying spray foam insulation in buildings as this House of Commons Library note explains

https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/spray-foam-insulation-and-mortgages/
I do not consider it appropriate for little old ladies etc to be bounced into installing spray foam insulation in their homes by persuasive salesman spinning ½ a story and then facing a bill to remove it as and when they learn more.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about spray foam insulation, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government to commission research into.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
