What the petition asks
To provide emergency funding and resources to support and protect Hemsby coastline from the significant effects of costal erosion. By doing so will also protect multiple properties on the dunes.
Hemsby is a key tourist location in the east of England and the UK's coastline, it is currently suffering the effects of mass costal erosion, although this has been significantly going on since 2013, it is becoming worse and worse. The effects of the costal erosion is costing peoples homes. It is also effecting the safe deployment of the Hemsby Lifeboat Station response to emergency calls. If help is not provided it will result in more peoples homes being lost as well impact on local businesses.
