What the petition asks
Help to prevent the course being cancelled by the National Midwifery Council
There is a shortage nationwide of midwives.
By allowing the Canterbury Christchurch University Midwifery course to be cancelled is a disservice to the local trusts and thousands of women and families who desperately need newly qualified midwives.
