What the petition asks

The Early years sector is on its knees. We want Government to look at why nurseries should pay high business rates when funding doesn't cover their costs.
We need the Government to act to save our nurseries
We lay the foundations in children's development so support us
The Government need to act otherwise there will be no funded spaces as nurseries will develop new business models to sustain themselves.
Nurseries are closing up and down the country.
The Early years alliance is trying to fight our corner.
The Princess of Wales set up a campaign (shaping us) and stressing the importance of the first five years in a Childs life
