Provide compensation for incorrect child maintenance assessments

What the petition asks

Many Paying Parents have had incorrect assessments for child maintenance. This has been followed by wrongful enforcement that has caused financial loss and impacted mental health. We want compensation for people affected by incorrect child maintenance assessments and wrongful enforcement.
We believe the Child Support Agency/Child Maintenance Service have been causing harm, loss, and damage by chasing PP's for money which has been incorrectly assessed and then using draconian enforcement to collect debts that are not actually owed. In some cases Paying Parents have been made homeless and have been left in a vulnerable and disadvantaged position and suffering from poor mental health as a result of the wrongful enforcement. Compensation must be paid to the victims.
