What the petition asks

We call upon the Government to launch an investigation into the planning and execution of the A585 bypass that is currently under construction near Blackpool by Kier via National Highways.

We believe that the new bypass road has not been properly thought out, planned or executed. We don't believe credible traffic data has been collected and that incorrect traffic modelling has been used, and is resulting in a shocking waste of public funds and a total shambles of modifications to our roads, that is causing ridiculous knock effects to even short journeys and impacting all our lives.
