What the petition asks
It’s a battle for women as it is to change sanitary products, but to not even provide them in a public restroom, even at a cost, is unacceptable. On behalf of all females I would like sanitary products to be required to be provided in all public restrooms, at a cost or not.
Recently I was in the cinema and my period started, I had no sanitary products on me and when speaking to the manager he provided no help or no reason to why sanitary product are not provided.
Many public restrooms provide machines charging £1 for sanitary product but this restroom didn’t even have that. I was in a place where I could do nothing and had to leave the facility and go to a separate shop to buy a whole box just to use one tampon in that moment. That’s not right and needs to be changed.
